GP practice shortlisted for Best Customer Service Awards

Dyneley House Surgery in Skipton has been shortlisted for a customer service award.

As the only GP practice to be shortlisted, Dyneley House has received recognition for providing an outstanding service for patients and the wider community through its program of patient education and self-care activities.

The GP practice, part of the NHS Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group, is one of three finalists in the Best Customer Service Award with Brougham Street Nursery School and Jenson Samuel Menswear both from Skipton also shortlisted.

Antony Radley, practice business manager at Dyneley House, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted as a finalist in a category that reflects our hard work for the benefit of our patients and the wider community.

“All of us here at Dyneley House are committed to working together with our patients and partners to provide the highest quality care and best possible outcomes for patients. It’s been a real team effort”.

“We are always working with other local agencies to plan and co-ordinate the development of local healthcare services. Our philosophy is to offer a combination of the best modern treatment backed up by traditional personal care.”

Dyneley House Surgery, which looks after more than 12,000 patients, including more than the national average of 50 to 85 year olds, has taken extra steps to improve the lives of people living with dementia, and won a national award for its ‘Outstanding Contribution to Dementia Friendly Communities’ in 2015.

The Stray FM award celebrate the people, organisations and businesses that make Skipton and the wider Craven district a wonderful place to live, work and enjoy.

The winners will be announced on Friday 25 October at The Coniston Hotel, Country Estate and Spa.
